Quotes
- What are the main criteria in the pricing of translations?
Though there is no established standard in the pricing of translations, special occasions related to urgency, hardcore technical content, readability and format can entail extra prices. If you send us the text to be translated, the price information will be sent to you by our coordinator as soon as possible.
- What is the standard of a page?
The character count of a text is calculated by electronical counting programs. One page is defined as 1000 characters (without spaces).
- Can I calculate the number of pages myself?
The character count of the documents that are in Microsoft Word format, (documents with the extension ".doc") can be calculated in Microsoft Word, from the "Word count" button in the "Tools" tab. You can request detailed information from us on how to count characters in other formats.
- Do you have discounts for corporations? Do we get a discount in case we are regular customers?
We give discounts to our regular customers according to business volume. Discounts are automaticaly given and deducted from our quotes.
- Sometimes I just need the translation of a few sentences. Do you charge me for a whole page in such circumstances?
No. The amount of translation services provided to our corporate customers is calculated by units.
- There are many repetitions in the text to be translated. Are they deducted from the fee?
In that case, our analysis of the text to be translated yields a different result in terms of pricing. The repetitions are taken into account in giving you a quote. Nevertheless, the repetitions in the translation are not completely free of charge.
Payment
- How do you receive the payments?
We expect from our new customers to make the 50% of the payment in advance, and transfer the rest in our bank account within 14 days from the invoice date. When our regular customers are in question, more convenient payment options are available in line with the mutual trust.
Different file types
- Do you charge any extra cost when translation of files with different formats are in question?
Yes. Translation of files with different file formats is a time consuming task which sometimes requires even twice as much the time of a standard translation process. Our quote takes into consideration all such factors and our clients are informed in advance. In the determination of the quote, we take into consideration the amount of time to be spent and the software to be utilized.
Notary public approval
- What kind of a procedure is followed for a notary public approval?
The document to be notarized will first be translated and proofread by our expert translators and proofreaders. After that, it is prepared for a notary public approval, signed and stamped by the sworn translator who carried out the translation. When the notary public's fee is collected, the documents are notarized by the notary and an invoice with the name of the customer is provided.
